What team will land RG3?
With the Colts most likely picking Andrew Luck with the first pick in the upcoming draft, what team will pick the next quarterback Robert Griffin III. He had an amazing combine workout and has significantly improved his draft stock. Earlier in the week, the St. Louis Rams said that their second overall pick was available for trade and possibly for teams to move up to get RG3. There are teams that are looking for a franchise quarterback like RG3. Some teams that need a quarterback are the Cleveland Browns, Washington Redskins, and the Seattle Seahawks. With the draft coming up soon, how much will teams give up to get RG3's talents?

I believe that whoever gets the #2 pick will get RG3 he is a great athlete and can throw the ball
ReplyDeleteWith such an amazing combine, RGIII's draft stock has been rising like crazy. Add in the fact that Quarterbacks tend to get drafted earlier than their initial projections, and I think you have the recipe for a trade-up into the St Louis Rams second overall pick slot. Of the three teams you listed (Browns, Redskins, Seahawks) there's two that make sense: Cleveland Browns and the Washington Redskins. Of those two teams though, the Cleveland Browns seem to have the most ammunition to move up in this year's draft due to them moving down in the first last year (Julio Jones deal with Atlanta). They've got picks 4 and 22 in the first round of the draft, making them likely candidates to trade up to that number 2 spot and acquiring Baylor QB RGIII.
